I love public speaking. I’m happy to talk for five minutes about anything, 10 minutes about most things and 40 minutes about inclusive design, early stage growth, scaling your product, team performance, culture, fintech, hybrid teams, purposeful products and sea swimming.

If there’s something specific you have in mind, get in touch. But if you’re looking for an engaging, upbeat memorable speaker and are short of ideas - there are some ideas below.

Everyone is Welcome

Over the past few years I have spoken at conferences, ‘lunch and learn’ sessions, networking events and on podcasts and videos about designing inclusive products and services. I can tailor the content from the basics (what is Inclusive Design and why does it matter?) or to more specific actionable tips for designers and product teams.

I also offer interactive Inclusive Design workshops if you’re looking for something smaller.

It can be tempting to put off thinking about growth until you’re ‘ready’, there’s a fear that if you focus on growth before your new product or business is fully formed then you’ll put people off - but there’s a real danger if you treat early stage growth as a ‘phase’ that comes somewhere down the line you might not make it that far.

This talk is a punchy look at when and how to think about growth - with actionable tips and lessons learned by some of the biggest and smallest brands out there. I’ve done long and short versions of this talk, depending what your audience is looking for.

Growth is not a phase

Many organisations have spend the last 10 years ‘digitising’ their services - converting paper processes into digital forms. This talk covers the pitfalls of going from paper to pixels and makes the case for skipping the process of ‘digital transformation’ in favour of a radical reboot.

From a 10 minute warm up to a 40 minute keynote - this talk gets people in the mood for change.

From paper to pixels

I said that I love public speaking, but I also really love MC-ing - it combines all my favourite things: Making your guests feel welcome, getting the conversation started, keeping things on track, asking tricky questions (without making people feel uncomfortable). I’m more than happy to intro your guests, warm up the crowd, run the panel session and help make your event run like clockwork.

Just give me the mic
